A Les Paul built with today's shredders in mind, the Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Custom Plus EX is the reincarnation of a guitar originally made popular in 2008. With its focus on speed and stylish looks, it didn't take a psychic to foresee this model's return.

A Speed Demon

The Prophecy's SpeedTaper D-profile neck will help you get the most out of solos and runs along the fretboard. The neck is backed with a satin finish which adds to the smooth feel.

Ready to Rumble

Equipped with an EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge position and an EMG 85 humbucker in the neck, the Prophecy Les Paul can deliver heavy sounds to match its look. These pickups are known to aptly handle high-volume and high-gain sounds, making them a favorite among metal players. If your sound leans toward the lighter end of the spectrum, the active circuit also makes for clear, resonant clean tones.

Not Your Father's Les Paul

The Prophecy Les Paul is a bold update of the classic Les Paul design. Black hardware adds to the Prophecy's dark disposition and the metal barrel knobs are topped with mother-of-pearl caps to match the finish of your choice. The mother-of-pearl and abalone block and triangle fret inlays and "stickpin" headstock inlay add a touch of flash, along with the white binding surrounding the body, neck, and headstock. And if you're worried about rocking too hard, fear not -- the straplocks will ensure your guitar stays put.

Sporting active humbuckers and a neck built for speed, the Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Custom can deliver sounds as menacing as its look. Those bold enough to play the Prophecy will see why it returned by popular demand.
